Lisa Haley is a seasoned public affairs professional who, for thirty years, managed events and issues on Parliament Hill. Lisa spent the first half of her career as political staff at the House of Commons, and the latter as a senior manager within the Public Service. In 2019, Lisa Haley co-chaired an historic event: the gathering of all eight living Prime Ministers to celebrate the 90th birthday of the oldest, the (late) Right Honourable John Turner. Since 2015, Lisa has held the volunteer role as president of CFUW-Ottawa’s Diplomatic Hospitality Group, which showcases Canadian history and culture to members of the diplomatic community. Board of Directors

Over the last ten years, community members have remained on the Board and worked through some very difficult times to see this vision through. Their commitment has ensured the organization stayed intact, and they are the reason we are able to proceed with an expanded vision today. We owe them a collective thank you for their dedication and commitment to this project.

We have recently had some new and talented members join our efforts, both as Board members and as volunteers and collaborators. These people are equally committed to preserving the built-heritage of the area, while sharing the larger vision for a vibrant capital city. We welcome their energy and enthusiasm.
