DESCRIPTION:* English version below * \n  \nSoirée micro ouvert et cercle de chant « Ancestry » – Dimanche 17 mai 2026 \nVenez célébrer la diversité des voix en partageant des chants issus de vos traditions respectives. Chantez seule\, avec une amie\, ou apprenez une chanson au groupe pour qu’il puisse se joindre à vous. Préparez une ou deux chansons de votre tradition à partager et à interpréter dans un cercle de chant ou dans le cadre d’une scène ouverte informelle. Les instruments acoustiques et toutes les voix (qu’elles soient entraînées ou non) sont les bienvenues. Un ampli et un micro seront également à votre disposition si vous le souhaitez. \nNotez que le respect de tous les héritages\, de toutes les origines ethniques et de toutes les cultures est un principe fondamental de notre rencontre. Notez également que le bâtiment dans lequel nous nous réunirons est un ancien lieu de culte qui n’appartient plus à aucune institution religieuse et qui n’accueille plus d’activités religieuses. \nNous espérons occuper cet espace dans la sérénité\, la bienveillance et la diversité des rapports à la spiritualité et à la religion. \nDe 15 h à 17 h à l’espace événementiel allsaints event space\, 317 Chapel Street. \nIl s’agit d’un événement qui accepte des dons avec une suggestion de 5 à 10 dollars\, mais personne ne sera refusé par manque de moyen. \nCet événement est présenté par A Flower Braided Bowl\, en partenariat avec The Other Hill. \nPour plus d’informations\, n’hésitez pas à envoyer un e-mail à Lo Sirois et Marko Curuvija à l’adresse aflowerbraidedbowl@gmail.com \n  \n  \nAncestry Open Mic & Song Circle – Sunday May 17th\, 2026  \nCome celebrate diverse voices\, with offerings of songs from your unique lineages. Sing alone\, with a friend\, or teach the group a song so they might join you. Come prepared with a song or two from your lineage to share and perform in a song circle or loose open mic setting. Acoustic instruments and all voices (trained and untrained) are welcome. An amp and mic will also be available to you should you desire. \nNote that respect for all lineages\, races and cultures is a tenet of our time together. Note also that the building in which we will meet is a former church space\, which is no longer owned by any religious institution\, and which no longer hosts religious activities. \nWe hope to inhabit the space with ease\, kindness and a diversity of relationships to spirituality and religion. 3 to 5pm at allsaints event space\, 317 Chapel Street.
