Opening Doors, Opening Connection: A Talk by Leanne Moussa on CreativeMornings

Passionate about urban development, Leanne Moussa has mobilized community stakeholders to purchase and repurpose multiple historic buildings in Ottawa. Over the past decade, she has led efforts to save a neighbourhood daycare and transform Allsaints, a revitalized 1899 heritage building in Sandy Hill, into a community hub with a: bakery, restaurant (Working Title), and event space. She also led the property’s successful rezoning, ensuring it can be restored and maintained for generations to enjoy. Leanne is also currently Chair of The Other Hill.

CreativeMornings is a monthly breakfast lecture series for the creative community with chapters in over 200 cities around the world. Each month they host an event, always on a Friday, always in the morning, and always free. They provide coffee, a light breakfast, and a 20-30 minute presentation from a local creative person on the global CreativeMornings theme for that month.
