Michelle Wilson

Born and raised in downtown Ottawa, Michelle attended the University of Ottawa’s Fine Arts program, before continuing her work and study in Vancouver and Toronto. Having the perspective of living in other major markets across Canada has allowed Michelle to truly appreciate the value that living in the nation’s capital brings to its residents. Now, back in Sandy Hill, Michelle works as a Real Estate Broker with one of the top teams in North America, Sezlik.com.

Many years ago, Michelle’s father, Randy Wilson, lived in Sandy Hill, where he founded the “Renter’s Guide” with his brothers, as a way of helping landlords rent properties in the neighbourhood. He married at St. Joseph’s Parish and raised Michelle and her sisters as volunteers of the St. Joe’s Women's Centre. Michelle is humbled to continue to support this organization today.

Through the frame of real estate, a background in art and design, and an appreciation for its history and heritage, Michelle values the opportunity to share in her father’s belief of the beauty and diversity of Sandy Hill. Eclecticism and all.

Board of Directors

Over the last ten years, community members have remained on the Board and worked through some very difficult times to see this vision through. Their commitment has ensured the organization stayed intact, and they are the reason we are able to proceed with an expanded vision today. We owe them a collective thank you for their dedication and commitment to this project.

We have recently had some new and talented members join our efforts, both as Board members and as volunteers and collaborators. These people are equally committed to preserving the built-heritage of the area, while sharing the larger vision for a vibrant capital city. We welcome their energy and enthusiasm.
